Suspended Cardiologist Allowed Back In Medicine

Dr. Randall Meyer, a Jefferson City Cardiologist whose license to practice medicine had been suspended can practice medicine again. The Cardiologist’s license was suspended in November on an emergency basis to protect the public by the Missouri Board of Healing Arts after being accused of unnecessarily placing stents in patients’ coronary arteries. He can now practice medicine; however he cannot perform any invasive procedures.  This is the first time in Missouri history the board has taken like this action against a physician.
