St. Charles County Plan Smoking Ban

St. Charles County Plan Smoking Ban

A bill restricting indoor smoking is being discussed by the St. Charles County Council.  Sponsored by Councilman Joe Cronin, the proposal would ban smoking in all business and enclosed public places, but exempt establishments where customers are required to be at least 21-years-old.  The “Post Dispatch” reports the new bill will not go before voters in an election, it would become law if it wins approval of the County Executive Steve Ehlmann and of the council.
