Sentencing Delayed For Stepfather In Drowning Case
Sentencing for the man who pled guilty to giving alcohol to minors, including his 12-year-old stepson who later drowned in the Meramac River has been delayed. Todd Combs’ who pled guilty to seven counts of second-degree child endangerment last month was to have been sentenced Monday but it has been pushed back to July. Forty-three-year-old Combs’ was attending a family picnic on August 5th when he admits he gave the minors alcohol. His stepson, Christopher Marks was pulled from the river a few days later.
