No Prior Investigations Into Family

Officials with child protective services say this is the first time they have had to investigate the family of seven-year-old Willow Long.  KMOV-TV reports Dave Clarkin, representative of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services said officials began their investigation into the family Sunday September 8th, when seven-year-old Willow was first reported missing.  The three-year-old younger brother of Willow was taken into protective custody of child services Tuesday.  The 22-year-old Uncle Justin DeRyke is facing first-degree murder charges and will be arraigned Wednesday.
