Missouri Lawmakers Head Back For Veto Session

Missouri lawmakers are back in Jefferson City for the special veto session today.  The agenda includes budget items and the debate of overriding Governor Nixon’s 29 vetoes.  Previously, lawmakers have been able to finish the reconvene veto session in one day however they have up to ten-days if necessary.  Overridden bills take effect in 30 days unless a different date is specifically set.
